Welcome to the Herbal Medicine section of The Corseted Culinarian. This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart (open heart space and all that!).
I did a 2 year part-time apprenticeship in herbal medicine. It was life changing! I will be sharing with you plenty of recipes on how to use and incorporate more herbs into your life. From time to time I will do a spotlight on a herb and it’s uses. I’ll also include recipes for creams, oils, tinctures and lots of fun things to do in the kitchen with herbs.
Some of my favourites herbs (well I really love them all!!) but those I use a lot of include:
- Elder (berries and flowers)
- Juniper berries
- Milk Thistle
- Clary Sage
I’m sure this list will grow as I blog more and more! It’s a bit of Herbal Magic 😀
